SucraPlus® is an innovative, new low calorie sucralose sweetener. It can be used successfully in practically any industrial application requiring a low calorie alternative to sugar, such as: dairy, bakery, confectionery, beverages, nutritional products etc. It is a white crystalline, non hygroscopic powder, readily soluble, is stable through the manufacturing process, mixing/blending, heat treatment (Pasteurisation, U.H.T., Canning), and it is suitable for use in acidic products.

SucraPlus® is manufactured to the highest modern standards and quality control systems in our accredited production facilities. Our raw material is regular sugar, i.e., sucrose (C12H22011), the process involves the controlled careful replacement of 3 -OH groups with 3 chlorine molecules, to generate Sucralose (C12H19Cl308).

SucraPlus® is 600 times sweeter than sucrose on an equal weight basis and is calorie free when consumed. Because of the slight change in structure, it passes harmlessly un-absorbed through the human body and has no calorific value. It has no influence on blood glucose or serum insulin and is perfectly suitable for use by diabetics. SucraPlus® containing products do not contribute to dental caries as it is not a nutrient source for Lactobacilli species or other dental flora.
